New Feature: Next Age Group Standards Now Available!
-
We're excited to introduce a brand new way to help swimmers and coaches track long-term progress — the Next Age Group Standards popup is now live!
This feature gives swimmers a chance to preview how their current time stacks up to the standards they'll face after they age up — making it easier to stay motivated and prepare for what's next.
🔍 Where Can You Find It?
This feature is available on the Fastest Times table found on every swimmer’s profile page.
You’ll see tabs for each age group — just click the next age group tab (e.g. from “13–14” to “15–16”) to see the qualifying times for the next division.
🛠 How It Works:
- The table updates to show the next age group’s motivational standards (e.g. B, BB, A, AA, AAA, AAAA).
- Each row shows:
- Standard Level (e.g. A, AA)
- Qualifying Time
- Time Difference between the swimmer’s best time and the target
This lets swimmers and coaches instantly see how close they are to meeting future goals — a great tool for long-term planning and season strategy.
🧠 Why It Matters
Understanding how your times measure up in the next age group can:
- Help you set realistic training goals
- Show where you already exceed next-level standards
- Keep younger swimmers engaged and forward-looking
It’s all about giving you the insight to plan ahead — not just for today, but for where you're going next.
