πββοΈ New Feature: Toggle Between USA Recognized Events & All Events in Rankings!
-
Weβre excited to introduce a new feature that gives you more control over how you view event rankings on SwimStandards!
Why This Feature?
This update comes directly from a request by a swim dad who asked if it was possible to see rankings for events that USA Swimming does not officially recognize for certain age groups (e.g., 200 Back for 12 & Under).
Previously, sites like SwimRankings displayed unofficial LSC/National age group records, but no one seems to track them anymore.
With this new feature, you can now view rankings for these non-standard events alongside officially recognized ones!
Whatβs New?
By default, our rankings display only USA Swimming recognized events for each age group. However, you can now toggle between official and all events using a new switch.
With this switch, you can choose between:
Show Only USA Recognized Events (Default) β Filters rankings to display only events officially recognized by USA Swimming.
Show All Events β Removes event restrictions so you can see rankings for all events, including unofficial ones.
How to Use It?
1οΈβ£ Navigate to the rankings page.
2οΈβ£ Look for the new toggle switch near the top.
3οΈβ£ Switch it ON to view only USA recognized events (default setting).
4οΈβ£ Switch it OFF to include all events, even those not recognized for certain age groups.
5οΈβ£ Hover over theοΈ info icon next to the switch to learn more!
Why This Matters?
β’ Keeps rankings aligned with official USA Swimming guidelines.
β’ Provides flexibility for swimmers, coaches, and teams who want to see all available events.
β’ Restores access to unofficial event rankings, similar to what was available on older sites like SwimRankings.Learn More
