Heads up, swimmers and swim fans!

The 2025 Futures Championships are scheduled for July 23-26, 2025, and this year’s competition will take place at multiple sites across the country. This event is a great chance for rising talent to shine and for teams to come together in some amazing venues.

Here are the locations:

• Greensboro, N.C. - Greensboro Aquatic Center
• Justin, Texas - NISD Aquatic Center
• Madison, WI - Bakke Recreation & Wellbeing Center
• Ocala, Fla. - Florida Aquatics Swimming & Training (FAST)
• Sacramento, Calif. - North Natomas Aquatic Center

The Meet Announcement has been released — here are some key details:

🗓️ Dates & Format

Dates: July 23–26, 2025 (Wednesday to Saturday)
Course: Long Course Meters (LCM)
Sessions:

• Prelims: 9:00 AM
• Finals: 5:30 PM

Top 32 swimmers from prelims advance to finals in the following order: D, C, B, A
(C & D finals are for 18&U only)
Distance events (800/1500 Free) are timed finals

• 200 Free
• 100 Breast
• 200 Fly
• 200 Medley Relay (Prelims)
• 800 Free (Women) / 1500 Free (Men) (Timed Finals)
• 200 Free Relay (Finals)

Day 2 (Thu)

• 100 Free
• 400 IM
• 100 Back
• 50 Fly (Bonus Eligible)
• 800 Free Relay

Day 3 (Fri)

• 50 Back (Bonus Eligible)
• 400 Free
• 100 Fly
• 200 Breast
• 400 Free Relay

Day 4 (Sat)

• 200 IM
• 50 Free
• 200 Back
• 50 Breast (Bonus Eligible)
• 1500 Free (Women) / 800 Free (Men) (Timed Finals)
• 400 Medley Relay

➕ Bonus Event Rules

• Qualify in 1 event → add up to 2 bonus events
• Qualify in 2 events → add 1 bonus event
• Qualify in 3+ events → no bonus events
• No time standard required for bonus events, but you must provide a provable entry time

50s of Stroke (Back, Breast, Fly)

• If qualified in any event, swimmer can enter up to 2 stroke 50s
• Use fastest 100 time or enter as NT (59:59.59)
• These will be seeded with 100 LCM times in circle-seeded heats

💵 Entry Fees

• Individual Events: $20
• Relays: $40
• Coach/Staff Credential: $20 each ($50 if requested on-site)
• Late Entry: $150 processing + $40 per event

🏆 Scoring & Awards

• Team Awards: Top 3 in Men’s, Women’s, Combined
• Individual Medals: “A” Finalists
• High Point Awards: Top scoring Male & Female

✅ Other Notes

• Max 3 individual events/day, 6 total (excluding time trials)
• Teams may enter 2 relays/event, using 8 different swimmers
• Deck changing, drones, unauthorized recording are prohibited
• 18+ athletes must complete Athlete Protection Training
• Positive check-in required for 800/1500 Free
