2026–27 SCY Weekly Top Performers, Edition 6: The Long Events Take Over
-
Distance freestyle had its moment this week. Both 10&U winners went 500 free, 11–12 boys put four 1000s and 1650s in their top ten, and 15 of the 83 swims across the eight boards came in the 500 free or longer. At the very top it was a quieter week: Wilson York of LAK led all scorers with a 53.35 100 breast worth 1023 Power Points, the lowest top mark of the season so far. But five swims landed between 999 and 1023, so the depth was there.
This edition covers swims entered into Swim Standards from October 15–21. Scores are Power Points, one top swim per swimmer.
10&U
Iris Liu of PLS is back at No. 1 in girls with a 5:53.56 in the 500 free (957), her third win in six editions and the first one outside the 50 breast. Olivia Covey (BC) was more than 17 seconds faster on the clock at 5:36.28, but as a 10-year-old she scores 904 and sits third, behind Audrey Hook (DR) and her 29.98 in the 50 back (916).
Robert Legg (PLS) won the boys' board with a 5:12.97 500 free for 1010. That's his third time on top, each in a different event (100 back in Edition 3, 100 fly in Edition 5). Ethan Zhang of VACA is only five points back at 1005 with a 2:06.58 in the 200 free, nearly two seconds under the 2:08.34 that won Edition 2. PLS also has nine-year-old Chayton Zhou at No. 9, again in the 500 free, and RMSC's eight-year-old Liam Sandstrom ties for seventh with a 1:09.21 100 fly.
11–12
The boys' board is built on distance. Ethan Zhang of SRQ (a different swimmer from the 10&U Ethan Zhang above) won with a 2:15.10 in the 200 breast (972), but Bronson Jenner (PSC) was right there at 964 on a 16:46.26 mile, with Daniel Radchenko Avondo (HCA) at 960 in the 1000 and Boardie Fouke (CSP) at 948 in the mile.
The girls' top three are separated by four points: Olivia Vaden (MAC) at 907 in the 200 fly, Sarah Chiang (KING) at 905 in the 400 IM, and Elizabeth Burke (MAC, listed under a different LSC) at 903 in another 200 fly. 12-year-old Emma Saragossi was 3.6 seconds faster than Vaden in the 200 fly (2:12.35) but scores 830, ninth, because of the age adjustment.
13–14
Jett Hatchard (SSC) is back on top of the boys' board, which he led in Editions 1 and 2, with a 50.28 in the 100 back for 980. Jude Burkhart (NBAC) is second at 972 on a 1:49.00 200 back, and Janiel Espinosa (NSUS) takes third for the third time this season, with a 52.43 100 fly. Half the board is backstroke.
On the girls' side, Ayden Ethridge of LAK won with a 26.88 50 back (916), and the top four are within 14 points: Sara Young (RMSC, 911), Abigail Cowart (AHAC, 904) and Clara Lauritzen (WMS, 902). Seven of the board's 11 swims were backstrokes.
15–18
York's 1023 leads the boys, and the rest of the podium is just as tight: Reef McMeeking (LAKR) went 24.96 in the 50 breast for exactly 1000, and Joseph Eaddy (REV) is one point shy of 1000 with a 9:00.67 in the 1000 free, after leading Edition 3 with a mile. Benjamin Jaggers (WLOO) is down to a 22.19 in the 50 back, from 22.66 in Edition 4. Three swimmers share tenth at 917.
Camryn Siegers (HOLCH) leads the girls with a 53.04 100 back (986). Abigail Burton (EAC) is second at 960 in the 100 breast, 1:00.44 now, after a 1:02.06 in Edition 3. Two pairs are tied further down, and Ines Arnall and Alba Arnall of WEST both make the top ten.

Rankings reflect swims added to Swim Standards between October 15–21, 2026, not necessarily when the swim happened. Tied swimmers share a rank. "MAC" appears under two LSCs (nc and wi) and is treated as two separate clubs. All events and times are SCY (short course yards).
