He finished ahead of <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/gabriel-brown-3" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Gabriel Brown</a>'s 400 IM (1,060) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/parker-wheeler" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Parker Wheeler</a>'s 50 fly (1,057).</p>
<p dir="auto">This edition covers swims added to the SwimStandards database between October 29 and November 4, 2026, drawn from 133,708 matched rows and 34,417 unique swimmers. Each swimmer appears once per age group and sex, represented by their best power-points swim in any event. Two patterns stood out: backstroke accounted for 24 of the 79 swims, more than any other stroke, and Southern California Swimming (SCS) placed 19 swimmers across the three youngest age groups.</p>
<h2>10 &amp; Under</h2>
<p dir="auto"><a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/iris-liu-2" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Iris Liu</a> of PLS leads the girls at age 9 with a 33.80 in the 50 breast, worth 1,035 points. That is more than any 13-14 or 15-18 girl on this week's board scored except Taylor Canada (1,037), which says a lot about how the age adjustment treats the youngest swimmers. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/addie-farrier" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Addie Farrier</a> of CAT made it two 1,000-point swims in the group with a 1:00.43 in the 100 fly. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/sophia-lee-park" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sophia Lee-Park</a> (50 back, 31.69) was third at 966, and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/alinea-fung" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Alinea Fung</a> (200 IM, 2:29.59), <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/olivia-viel" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Olivia Viel</a> (100 back, 1:10.56) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/celina-mu" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Celina Mu</a> (50 fly, 28.53) followed between 908 and 920.</p>
<p dir="auto">Fly was the most common event in the group, with five of the ten spots. The back half also had a NOVA flavor: <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/margaret-wang" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Margaret Wang</a>, the youngest swimmer on the entire board at 8, scored 873 in the 100 IM, and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/manqing-huang" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Manqing Huang</a> and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/meixuan-jiang" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Meixuan Jiang</a> added 50 flys of 31.33 and 31.87. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/kimberly-lee" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kimberly Lee</a> of AQJT rounded out the top ten at 839 with a 29.58 in the same event.</p>
<p dir="auto">Among the boys, <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/robert-legg" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Robert Legg</a> of PLS took the top spot with a 1:59.64 in the 200 free (969 points), with <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/isen-wolfe" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Isen Wolfe</a> close behind at 2:01.58 in the same event. Legg's 969 is actually higher than the 966 that tied for fifth among the 13-14 boys this week. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/declan-wang" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Declan Wang</a> was third with a 1:04.07 in the 100 back.</p>
<p dir="auto">Pacific Swimming dominated the rest of the group: SCSC placed three swimmers (<a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/tatsumasa-sekine" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Tatsumasa Sekine</a> in the 50 fly, <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/aurelius-lien" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Aurelius Lien</a> in the 50 breast and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/rubix-szolusha" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Rubix Szolusha</a> in the 200 IM), and with Legg and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/ryan-latronica" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Ryan Latronica</a> of HILL, five of the ten boys carry a Pacific code. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/liixin-zhang" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Liixin Zhang</a>, <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/dylan-deahn" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Dylan Deahn</a> and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/owen-johnson-12" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Owen Johnson</a> completed the group, with scores in the high 830s to low 890s.</p>
<h2>11-12</h2>
<p dir="auto">This was the deepest group of the week, especially on the boys' side.</p>
<p dir="auto">Molin Qian's 2:20.03 leads three 1,000-point swims. Gabriel Brown of FAST went 4:29.37 in the 400 IM at age 11, the second-highest score on the whole board, and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/ernest-hsu" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Ernest Hsu</a> of ROSE added a 2:23.44 in the 200 breast for 1,035. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/daniel-radchenko-avondo" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Daniel Radchenko Avondo</a> of HCA missed the 1,000 club by a single point (999) with a 17:54.19 mile, also at 11. The 200 breast dominated: Qian, Hsu, <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/george-xuan" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">George Xuan</a> and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/max-fujino" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Max Fujino</a> hold four of the ten spots. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/hunter-gumbayan" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Hunter Gumbayan</a> (200 free, 1:47.06), <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/boardie-fouke" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Boardie Fouke</a> and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/bronson-jenner" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Bronson Jenner</a> (500 frees of 4:53.72 and 4:54.42) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/junyou-he" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Junyou He</a> (50 back, 26.62) filled out the rest.</p>
<p dir="auto">The girls' group had no 1,000-point swims but plenty of range. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/sydnee-elerding" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sydnee Elerding</a> of TCCC leads with a 26.78 in the 50 back at age 12 (964), followed by <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/emma-blaho" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Emma Blaho</a> of BAD, who swam a 24.60 in the 50 free at 11. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/irene-zhong" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Irene Zhong</a> was third at 1:01.32 in the 100 back, and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/taylor-brooks" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Taylor Brooks</a> of BZRK posted an 18:50.10 in the 1650 at age 11. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/grace-wang-5" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Grace Wang</a> (200 fly, 2:06.46), <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/lauren-lucero" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Lauren Lucero</a> and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/katherine-ballis" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Katherine Ballis</a> (100 breasts of 1:09.45 and 1:09.59) rounded out the top seven.</p>
<p dir="auto">The most interesting detail is the tie at eighth. NOVA teammates <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/julia-xiong" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Julia Xiong</a> (1:59.69) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/victoria-gu" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Victoria Gu</a> (1:59.70) were separated by one hundredth in the 200 free and scored identical points (879). <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/maddison-lord" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Maddison Lord</a> of BAD took tenth with a 1:54.77 in the same event, giving NOVA four swimmers and BAD two in the group.</p>
<h2>13-14</h2>
<p dir="auto">No girl in this group reached 1,000, and the winning score of 958 is the lowest of the week's eight age-group leaders. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/dhriti-upadhyaya" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Dhriti Upadhyaya</a> takes it with a 25.82 in the 50 back, and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/autumn-mcintosh" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Autumn McIntosh</a> is only nine points back after a 4:44.95 in the 500 free. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/alexia-cronin" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Alexia Cronin</a> (200 free, 1:50.01) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/fiona-blaho" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Fiona Blaho</a> (50 free, 23.17) followed, and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/mary-tolar" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mary Tolar</a> of NCAP added a 2:00.45 in the 200 back.</p>
<p dir="auto">Backstroke carries the group, with five of the ten spots going to 50 and 200 backs: Upadhyaya, Tolar, <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/elle-lourie" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Elle Lourie</a>, <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/vanessa-delev" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Vanessa Delev</a> and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/sophia-lucero" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sophia Lucero</a>. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/kayla-hill" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kayla Hill</a> (100 breast, 1:03.65) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/eloise-jones-1" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Eloise Jones</a> (1650, 16:49.85) completed the top ten. With Blaho and Delev, BAD now has four swimmers across the two girls' groups from 11 to 14.</p>
<p dir="auto">The boys were stronger. Three 13-year-olds hold the top three spots, each above 1,000: Parker Wheeler of WAC with a 23.17 in the 50 fly (1,057), <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/jacob-lee-9" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Jacob Lee</a> of ROSE with a 26.25 in the 50 breast (1,043) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/janiel-espinosa" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Janiel Espinosa</a> of NSUS with a 51.77 in the 100 back (1,004). <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/lucas-franzmathes" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Lucas Franzmathes</a> was fourth with a 2:03.36 in the 200 breast.</p>
<p dir="auto">The age adjustment shows up clearly in the 50 breast. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/sahiel-pai" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sahiel Pai</a>, a 14-year-old at NOVA, swam a 26.18, seven hundredths faster than Lee's 26.25, yet Lee scored 1,043 to Pai's 960. Further up the list, <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/jack-peden" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Jack Peden</a> (50 back, 23.54) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/noah-safa" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Noah Safa</a> (100 fly, 52.12) tied for fifth at 966 from entirely different events. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/beckum-rychnovsky" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Beckum Rychnovsky</a> (1000 free, 9:39.27), <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/kurt-gartland" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kurt Gartland</a> (50 fly, 24.08) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/mason-tran-2" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mason Tran</a> (200 breast, 2:09.44) completed a tightly packed field: only 18 points separate fourth through ninth.</p>
<h2>15-18</h2>
<p dir="auto"><a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/taylor-canada" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Taylor Canada</a> is the headline for the girls. Her 21.52 in the 50 free at age 15 earned 1,037 points, 53 more than anyone else in the group. Behind her, backstroke takes over: six of the other nine spots belong to 50 or 200 backs. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/mckenzie-cory" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">McKenzie Cory</a> of NCAP leads that charge with a 1:54.33 in the 200 back (984), and the 50 back produced a tight trio in <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/willa-faulkner" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Willa Faulkner</a> (25.36), <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/quinn-sungy" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Quinn Sungy</a> (25.42) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/chloe-anders" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Chloe Anders</a> (25.83). Faulkner and Sungy are just six hundredths apart, but that is worth 17 points. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/siggy-nymo" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Siggy Nymo</a> and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/florence-robitaille" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Florence Robitaille</a> added 200 backs of 1:56.98 and 1:57.23, while <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/sadie-buckley" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Sadie Buckley</a> (200 IM, 1:58.61), <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/emilianna-gonzalez" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Emilianna Gonzalez</a> (50 free, 22.37) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/coco-croxford" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Coco Croxford</a> (200 fly, 1:57.78) completed the group.</p>
<p dir="auto">The boys belong to Potomac Valley. NCAP holds the top three spots, with <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/luc-dionne" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Luc Dionne</a> at 1:55.59 in the 200 breast (1,004, the only 1,000-point swim in the group), <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/gabriel-hanson" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Gabriel Hanson</a> at 47.89 in the 100 back and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/jaxson-daniel" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Jaxson Daniel</a> at 1:47.65 in the 200 back. RMSC's <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/griffin-oehler" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Griffin Oehler</a> is fifth, so four of the top five carry a Potomac Valley code.</p>
<p dir="auto">Hanson and Oehler also offer the cleanest age-adjustment example of the week. Oehler, 18, swam 47.68, faster than Hanson's 47.89 at 16, but Hanson scored 988 to Oehler's 949. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/anderson-baird" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Anderson Baird</a> (200 breast, 1:58.33) was fourth, followed by <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/ramika-arangalla" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Ramika Arangalla</a> (50 fly, 21.84), <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/austin-chu" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Austin Chu</a> (100 back, 48.97) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/prakhanthi-rai" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Prakhanthi Rai</a> (200 breast, 1:59.57). <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/luke-zardavets" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Luke Zardavets</a> (100 breast, 54.81) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/john-doebbeling" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">John Doebbeling</a> (200 breast, 2:01.40) tied for ninth at 929, so this group lists nine swimmers instead of ten.</p>
<h2>Week at a Glance</h2>
<p dir="auto">Ten swims cleared 1,000 points this week: Qian, Brown, Wheeler, Lee, Canada, Liu, Hsu, Dionne, Espinosa and Farrier. The 11-12 boys were the strongest group, with three of those ten, while the 13-14 girls had the lowest winning score at 958. Backstroke led the strokes with 24 of 79 swims (ten of the 19 in the 15-18 groups), ahead of breaststroke and freestyle at 18 each, fly at 13 and IM at six. The boys' 200 breast also stood out, appearing ten times across the three older groups.</p>
<p dir="auto">On the club side, SCS placed 19 swimmers (nine of them from NOVA), and Potomac Valley's NCAP led the 15-18 boys. Depth varied by group too: the tenth-place score ranged from 838 among the 10&amp;U boys to 940 among the 13-14 boys.</p>
<p dir="auto"><em>Notes: Rankings are based on power points, which adjust for age, so a slower raw time can outrank a faster one. The window reflects when swims were added to the SwimStandards database, not necessarily when the meets took place. "NOVA" appears with two different LSC codes this week (SCS for most swimmers, Virginia for Taylor Canada), so they are different clubs. Coco Croxford's surname came through in capitals in the source data and has been standardized here. Selections follow one swim per swimmer per age group and sex, with ties at the cutoff included.</em></p>
