Elsewhere, a nine-year-old edged one of this series' regulars in 10&amp;U girls by seven points, and backstroke kept winning boards.</p>
<p dir="auto">This edition covers swims entered into Swim Standards from <strong>October 8–14</strong>. Scores are Power Points, one top swim per swimmer.</p>
<h2>10&amp;U: Yue edges Liu, and the girls' board gets deep</h2>
<p dir="auto"><a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/callie-yue" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Callie Yue</a> of <a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/pv/ncap" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">NCAP</a> is the new No. 1 in 10&amp;U girls. Her 1:07.04 in the 100 back scored 1016, seven points ahead of <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/iris-liu-2" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Iris Liu</a> (<a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/pc/pls" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">PLS</a>), who led this group in Editions 1 and 3 and went 34.29 in the 50 breast this time. Behind them, <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/bailey-harrell" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Bailey Harrell</a> (<a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/fl/star" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">STAR</a>) posted 988 in the 50 back and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/addie-farrier" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Adeline Farrier</a> (<a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/fl/cat" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">CAT</a>) returned with 971 in the 100 fly. Four swimmers at 970 or better is a first for this group; no earlier edition had more than two.</p>
<p dir="auto">On the boys' side, <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/robert-legg" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Robert Legg</a> (PLS) is back on top with a 1:01.86 100 fly (952). The 500 free is the event to watch: <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/aurelius-lien" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Aurelius Lien</a> of <a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/pc/scsc" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">SCSC</a> (5:52.81, 931) and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/isaac-dai" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Isaac Dai</a> of <a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/scs/evo" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">EVO</a> (5:55.25, 916), both nine, sit in the top four, while Lien's SCSC teammate <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/rubix-szolusha" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Rubix Szolusha</a> was far faster on the clock (5:32.12) but, as a 10-year-old, scores 879. Age adjustment at work.</p>
<h2>11–12: Two 11-year-olds clear 1000 in the boys' race</h2>
<p dir="auto">Qian's 1071 headlines the group, and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/nicolas-lahre" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Nicolas Lahre</a> of <a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/mr/bgnw" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">BGNW</a> is right behind at 1019 on a 2:07.32 200 back. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/gabriel-brown-3" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Gabriel Brown</a> (<a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/in/fast" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">FAST</a>) takes third with a 2:10.00 200 IM (966). Seven of the ten swimmers on this board are 11. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/hudson-wenzel" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Hudson Wenzel</a>, who led in Editions 1 and 2, appears at No. 9 with a 50 free and is now listed as unattached.</p>
<p dir="auto">The girls' board is far more open: nobody tops 900. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/billie-briggs" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Billie Briggs</a> of <a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/gu/bta" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">BTA</a> leads with a 27.91 50 back (866), and <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/maeve-devaney" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Maeve Devaney</a> (<a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/scs/lasc" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">LASC</a>) is second at 858 on an 11:14.90 1000 free. Four of the ten swims came in events of 200 yards or longer, an unusual mix for this age group.</p>
<h2>13–14: Liu-Tchorbadjiyski goes 22.64</h2>
<p dir="auto"><a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/lubo-liu-tchorbadjiyski" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Lubomir Liu-Tchorbadjiyski</a> of <a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/il/nta" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">NTA</a> won the boys' board with a 22.64 50 back worth 1058, the third-highest score of the season behind Tan and Qian. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/layten-norem" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Layten Norem</a> (<a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/ia/acac" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">ACAC</a>) was also over 1000, dropping his 50 back from 24.61 in last week's edition to 24.12 (1001). <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/daniel-bunge" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Daniel Bunge</a> of <a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/va/nova" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">NOVA</a> rounds out the top three with a 24.00 50 fly.</p>
<p dir="auto">Among the girls, <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/millie-claire-conner" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Millie Claire Conner</a> (<a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/sc/tg" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">TG</a>) leads at 933 (26.71 in the 50 back), with <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/lillie-dirito" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Lillie Dirito</a> (<a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/ma/yy" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">YY</a>) second on a 2:00.11 200 back. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/katherine-mccrea" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Katherine McCrea</a> of <a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/scs/azot" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">AZOT</a> is in the top five for the third straight edition, this time on a 2:04.44 200 fly.</p>
<h2>15–18: Nine of ten backstrokes, and a three-way sprint at the top</h2>
<p dir="auto"><a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/reina-liu" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Reina Liu</a> of <a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/nc/tac" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">TAC</a> leads the girls with a 25.07 50 back (996), followed by <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/shelby-hutchinson" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Shelby Hutchinson</a> (<a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/ma/sjac" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">SJAC</a>) at 974 on a 53.29 100 back. Nine of the ten swims on this board were backstrokes, one more than last week.</p>
<p dir="auto">The boys' top three are separated by four points. <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/daniel-mulla" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Daniel Mulla</a> (<a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/pv/red" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">RED</a>) went 22.36 in the 50 fly for 972, one point ahead of <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/charlie-cancelmo" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Charles Cancelmo</a> (<a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/pn/smac" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">SMAC</a>) and his 47.25 100 fly, with <a href="https://swimstandards.com/swimmer/noah-mejias" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Noah Mejias</a> (<a href="https://swimstandards.com/clubs/fg/cyby" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">CYBY</a>) at 968. Butterfly takes four of the top ten spots.</p>
