From our first edition in April through Edition 16 in August, we published hundreds of rankings across every age group and gender, and today we're closing the book on the season with a look back at the very best of the best.

Season By the Numbers

It was a big season for the leaderboard:

16 weekly editions published (10 in Top 3 format, 6 in Top 10 format)

842 total rankings published across all editions and the season bonus feature

502 unique swimmers featured across the full season, including the bonus rankings

421 rankings each for girls and boys — a dead-even split

Age group breakdown: 180 rankings for 10&Under, 180 for 11-12, 240 for 13-14, and 242 for 15-18

Key takeaway: With 13-14 and 15-18 combining for nearly 60% of all rankings published, the older age groups saw the deepest and most competitive fields this season — no surprise given the added events and higher swim volume at those ages.

Top 10 Performers: Girls (By Power Points)

Following our one-swim-per-swimmer rule, here's how the season's best power-points performances stack up for the girls:

A few things stand out here. Four of the top ten swims belong to 10&Unders — a reminder of how aggressively power points can reward exceptional swims at the youngest ages. Interestingly, Alexa Jenner and Nya Ferguson posted the exact same time (1:12.49) in the 100 Fly for identical point totals, a rare and clean tie at the top of the leaderboard. And the 50 Back had a strong showing among 15-18 swimmers, claiming three of the season's top ten spots — including two (Sagle and Brito) that only surfaced through the Season Bonus Rankings once 13&Over 50s point values became available.

Top 10 Performers: Boys (By Power Points)

The boys' side told a similar story, with a mix of age groups and a heavy presence from backstroke and breaststroke sprints:

Key takeaway: The 13-14 age group dominated the top of the boys' list, claiming four of the top five spots. And once again, the Season Bonus Rankings made their presence felt — three of the ten swims (Hatchard, Lee, and McMeeking) came from the 13&Over 50s file, underscoring how much elite sprint speed had gone uncredited in the weekly editions before those events were added.

A Note on the Season Bonus Rankings

Several of this season's biggest performances — in the 50 Back, 50 Breast, and 50 Fly for 13&Over swimmers — didn't appear in the regular weekly editions because power points for those events weren't yet available on the platform. Once we added that coverage, those swims were folded into a one-time Season Bonus Rankings feature so they could be properly credited in this season-ending look-back. You'll see those entries marked "Season Bonus" above rather than tied to a specific weekly edition.

As with every edition this season, both leaderboards above follow our one-swim-per-swimmer rule — each swimmer's single best power-points performance, and only one appearance per list.

Thank You

Sixteen weeks, hundreds of rankings, and over 500 swimmers featured — it was a season worth tracking. Thanks to everyone in the community who followed along, shared editions, tagged swimmers, and helped us keep the data sharp along the way.

The LCM season may be wrapping up, but SCY season starts September 1 — see you there. 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️
